Atlantica SuperSplash

Atlantica SuperSplash is a Mack Rides SuperSplash water coaster at Europa-Park in Rust, Germany. It opened on 19 March 2005 for the park's 30th anniversary and formed the cornerstone of the new Portugal themed area, themed to pirates and seafaring.

The 390-metre layout climbs a chain lift to 30 metres and uses two turntables to keep the footprint compact. The final 50-degree drop into a purpose-built 4,400 m2 lake reaches 80 km/h and throws up a large splash; magnetic brakes reduce the speed, and the wetness, on colder days. Six cars of sixteen riders give a capacity of about 1,400 riders per hour over a ride of roughly 3 minutes 20 seconds. Spectators can fire water cannons at passing boats from the run-out, and an "Atlantica shower" platform lets bystanders get soaked too.

An identical installation, Walrus Splash, operates at Chimelong Ocean Kingdom in China.
