Dino Island

Dino Island is a log flume at Legoland Malaysia Resort in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, Malaysia. It opened with the rest of the park on 15 September 2012 and was supplied by the Swiss manufacturer ABC Rides, which had already delivered water and tower rides to several other Merlin Entertainments parks in Europe.

After leaving the station, each eight-seater boat winds through a series of right and left turns before climbing a 12-metre lift. At the top the boats pass through a dark section past animated LEGO dinosaurs and over a small drop, then return outdoors for the main plunge and its large splash.

Eight boats run at a dispatch interval of 34 seconds, giving a theoretical capacity of about 850 riders per hour, with a ride time of just over three minutes. Children must be at least six years old or 1.2 m tall to ride with an adult, and nine years old or 1.4 m tall to ride alone.
