El Aserradero

El Aserradero (Spanish for "the sawmill") is a log flume at Six Flags Over Texas, built by Arrow Development and opened on 25 June 1963, making it the first purpose-built log flume ride ever constructed. Themed to a Spanish sawmill adventure in the park's Spain section, it carries riders through a water channel using two conveyor-belt lift hills before a splashing plunge. Each log seats up to four riders in a single row, and the ride is rated at about 1,000 riders per hour. More than 60 years after opening it remains in operation.
