Épidemaïs Croisières

Épidemaïs Croisières is an Intamin tow-boat ride at Parc Astérix, opened on 30 April 1989 as La Balade d’Astérix. Merchant Épidemaïs now leads a leisurely musical cruise through scenes featuring characters from the Astérix comics, including Cleopatra. Most scenes are outdoors, with an indoor section along the route.

The attraction was renamed in 1999 when its story was adjusted and many animatronics became static figures. Animatronics were added again in 2010; probably by Heimotion. Its published specifications are 16 seats per boat, a ten-minute journey and 1,600 riders per hour.
