Expedition Nautilus

Expedition Nautilus opened in 2013 in Attractiepark Slagharen's then-new Jules Verne themed area, built for the park's 50th anniversary, on the spot of the former Jumbo ride. It was the first Twist 'n Splash in the Netherlands and is still the only one in the Benelux. Nine boats for six riders each carry water cannons, and cannons around the edge let bystanders join the battle. Originally themed to Jules Verne's submarine Nautilus — with old cars from the former Nautilus ride as decoration — it was rethemed to a Wild West gold mine, "Nautilus Fine Gold", in 2022.
