Thornado

Thornado takes riders high above Plohn’s Viking village in circular, eight-seat rafts. The lift offers a view across the park before the boats enter a winding, 360-metre channel, turning as they follow the curves and descend towards the splash pool.

The spinning makes each trip feel a little different, especially as the raft gathers speed on the final descent. This ABC Rides River Splash opened in 2013 as Fluch des Teutates and later became Thornado.
