Fuji-Q Highland Splash Coaster (name to be announced)

Fuji-Q Highland announced on 18 September 2026, the company's 100th anniversary, that a large-scale splash coaster will open in the summer of 2027. It will be built on the former COOL JAPAN site next to Eejanaika, at an investment of roughly 4 billion yen.

The ride runs forwards and backwards along a single track, using three linear launches to send the train up a 90-degree vertical tower to a height of around 44 metres, with a moment of airtime at the top of the seemingly unfinished track. The finale plunges the 20-seat train into a pond fed with natural water from Mount Fuji, throwing up a large splash.

The layout, launch system, 44-metre vertical tower and 20-rider train match the Mack Rides PowerSplash model; Fuji-Q Highland has not yet confirmed the manufacturer or the ride's name, and further details are to follow.
