Hurjakuru

Hurjakuru is the whitewater rapids ride at Linnanmäki in Helsinki, built by the Swiss manufacturer Intamin and opened on 17 May 1998.

The 370-metre channel winds underneath the Salama roller coaster, passes through a darkened cave and finishes alongside a large waterfall that tips over the boats from a walkway high above. Riders sit in round rafts holding up to nine people, and the ride handles around 600 passengers an hour.

Riders must be at least 140 cm tall, or 120 cm when accompanied by an adult.
