Journey to Atlantis

Journey to Atlantis is a water coaster at SeaWorld Orlando that blends a dark boat ride through a mythical sunken city with roller-coaster elements, including chain lifts and steep splashdowns. Designed by German manufacturer Mack Rides, it opened on 17 April 1998 and was recognised with a THEA Award. The course runs roughly 1,800 feet and reaches speeds around 40 mph, ending in a 60-foot plunge. It shares its name and Atlantis storyline with sister attractions at other SeaWorld parks.
