Kärlekstunneln

Kärlekstunneln — the tunnel of love — is Gröna Lund's indoor boat ride and one of the oldest attractions in the park, dating back to 1917 when tin swan boats first floated through it. It was rebuilt in 1935–36 as Sagokanalen, renamed Grottbanan in 1955 with swan gondolas, and came to be known as Kärlekstunneln from the 1960s onwards.

After the 1985 fire in the neighbouring Lustiga Huset the ride was repaired and reopened in 1987, about 30 metres longer and with log-shaped plastic boats seating three. The gentle trip through the dimly lit canal lasts several minutes.
