Katapult

Katapult is a pair of Sunkid Heege Nautic Jets at Duinrell in Wassenaar, Netherlands, open since 1999. Two boats sit side by side, each winched backwards up a ramp of roughly 8.4 metres before being released.

The boat shoots down the track, leaves the rails at the bottom and flies several metres through the air before splashing into the pool. Riders start the ride themselves by closing the gate and pulling a rope. The minimum height is 140 cm.
