Liberty Belle Riverboat

Liberty Belle Riverboat was a Mississippi-style sternwheeler that carried up to 450 guests on a circuit of the Rivers of America around Tom Sawyer Island in Magic Kingdom's Liberty Square. Its predecessor, the Admiral Joe Fowler Riverboat, first sailed on the park's second day of operation, 2 October 1971; the vessel was renamed and rethemed as the Liberty Belle, debuting on 20 May 1973. Riders could step inside the ornate parlour and pilot house during the cruise. After more than five decades of service the riverboat closed permanently on 7 July 2025.
