Living with the Land

Living with the Land is a slow boat ride through the Land pavilion at EPCOT, combining dark-ride storytelling with a tour of working greenhouses that demonstrate experimental growing techniques. It opened as an original EPCOT Center attraction on 1 October 1982 under the name Listen to the Land and was renamed in 1993. The roughly 14-minute ride carries about 20 guests per boat past scenes of Earth's natural biomes before floating through greenhouses growing real crops. It is one of the few surviving opening-day attractions from EPCOT's Future World.
