Enchanted Forest Log Flume

Enchanted Forest Log Flume is the log flume at Rainbow’s End in Manukau, Auckland — one of only two water rides in New Zealand’s largest theme park. It opened in 1984 as the plain Log Flume.

On 21 June 1998 arsonists set the ride on fire, destroying more than 75% of it. It was rebuilt and rethemed as the Enchanted Forest Log Flume, with semi-dark sections through a forest scene, a few small dips and a larger final drop.

In 2022 the ride got a new storyline with four themed lands: The Trees, Unicorn Meadow, Dragon Dale and The Golden Glenn. The logs seat up to four (the park allows three riders per log, max 320 kg); a ride lasts about seven minutes. Minimum height is 100 cm.
