Menhir Express

Menhir Express is a Hopkins Rides log flume in the Gaul area of Parc Astérix. Opened in 1995, it sends riders out to help Obélix deliver his menhirs. Its distinctive four-person boats resemble floating standing stones rather than conventional logs.

The ride follows a 627-metre watercourse with lifts, turbulent sections and splashdowns; its published maximum height is 13 metres. Martin & Vleminckx carried out the on-site installation. It is a more adventurous alternative to the park’s children’s flume, Hydrolix.
