Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure

Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure is a magnetically driven dark boat ride in the Treasure Cove area of Shanghai Disneyland, opened with the park on 16 June 2016. Based on the Pirates of the Caribbean films, it tells an entirely new story rather than repeating the classic Pirates ride. Guests travel through the Caves of Misfortune and a Graveyard of Lost Ships, surrounded by huge projection and animatronic effects. It is widely regarded as the most technologically advanced version of the attraction in any Disney park.
