Pitoune (Former Log Flume)

La Pitoune was a log flume at La Ronde in Montreal, built by Arrow Development and opened on 27 April 1967 in the park's Fort Edmonton area. Boats seating four riders in a single row travelled through a water channel powered by two conveyor-belt lift hills, with no restraints and a 36-inch height minimum. It became one of the park's best-loved classic attractions over nearly 50 years. Six Flags closed the ride permanently in 2017, stating that it had reached the end of its useful life.
