Powder Keg Log Flume was an original opening-day attraction at Carowinds in 1973. The Arrow Dynamics log flume featured double-barrel log vehicles on more than 488 metres of track, with a mid-course spillway drop and a 13.4-metre final drop. It was removed in 2009 to make way for the Intimidator roller coaster (now Thunder Striker).
