River Caves

The River Caves of the World opened in 1905 and is one of the oldest dark rides anywhere, an American-designed boat trip through scenes from around the globe. It originally ran fifty boats of ten passengers along a 273 metre channel.

A lift and drop were added in 1974 and an Angkor Wat scene in 1977. The ride has been standing closed since early 2024 while the park reimagines it.
