Roaring Rapids

Roaring Rapids is a river rapids ride at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California, manufactured by Intamin and opened on 23 April 1981. It simulates a whitewater rafting run, sending circular rafts holding up to 12 people down a channel of roughly 1,500 feet filled with churning currents, rock formations and geysers. The minimum height is 42 inches and the trip typically lasts three to five minutes. It was among the earliest Intamin rapids installations at a Six Flags park.
