Roman Rapids

Roman Rapids is a whitewater rapids ride in the Festa Italia area of Busch Gardens Williamsburg, manufactured by Swiss company Intamin. It opened in 1988, themed around a chaotic race down an ancient Roman canal, originally using six-person rafts. The ride was closed for the 2020 to 2022 seasons and reopened in 2023 with new nine-person boats. The minimum height to ride is 42 inches.
