Romus et Rapidus is an Intamin river-rapids ride in the Roman Empire area of Parc Astérix. It opened with the park on 30 April 1989 as La Descente du Styx and took its current name in 2007.

Nine-person circular rafts drift and spin through turbulent water. The Roman journey is disrupted by traps laid by the Gauls, with water effects turning the voyage into a soaking. Published capacity is 2,000 riders per hour.
