Shipwreck Rapids

Shipwreck Rapids is a river rapids ride at SeaWorld San Diego, built by Swiss manufacturer Intamin and designed in-house by SeaWorld. It opened on 29 May 1999, sending nine-person circular rafts along a winding waterway that builds into whitewater rapids before a waterfall finale. The minimum height is 42 inches, with a supervising companion required for younger riders. It remains one of the park's signature soaking attractions.
