Shoot the Chute

Shoot the Chute (急流勇进) is the classic boat-and-drop ride in the Joyful Water World area of Chimelong Paradise, open since 2006. Riders board a “warrior boat” that drops from the top into a splash pool; minimum height 1.1 m. The track is about 165 m long with a 15 m high top. In December 2025 the park opened the much larger Super Rapids, which doubles these figures — the two rides now operate side by side.
