Speed Water Coaster

Speed is the record-breaking water coaster in Energylandia's Extreme Zone, built by Intamin and erected by RCS GmbH. It opened on 2 April 2018 after being announced for the 2017 season.

An elevator lift raises the ten-seat boat to the top of the tower, from where a 45-degree drop of about 50 m brings it to roughly 101 km/h — the fastest of any water coaster in the world, and tied with DiVertical at Mirabilandia as the tallest. The 687 m layout continues through a splash section, a 360-degree helix and a second splashdown. Hourly capacity is around 840 riders.
