The Flume opened on 21 July 1981 as the Wild Water Flume and was the longest log flume in the world at the time, with 886 metres of trough and three drops. In 2004 it was rebuilt with a bathroom theme, complete with giant taps, rubber ducks and soap bubbles.
The ride closed for good on 10 October 2015 and was cleared to make way for the Wicker Man roller coaster.
