Thunder River

Thunder River is a river rapids ride at Six Flags Over Georgia in Austell, built by Intamin and opened in 1982. It shares its name and design lineage with the very first Intamin rapids ride, which debuted at Six Flags AstroWorld in 1980 and was removed when that park closed in 2005. Twelve-person circular rafts navigate a whitewater channel with unpredictable currents and sudden drops. The minimum unaccompanied height is 42 inches.
