Valhalla

Valhalla opened on 14 June 2000 at a cost of fifteen million pounds and is one of the largest indoor water rides in the world. Eight-seat boats travel 610 metres through darkness, fire, snow and fog before three drops, the largest of them nineteen metres.

It was built on the site of the Fun House, destroyed by fire in 1991. Major refurbishments followed in 2011 and 2023; the backwards drop and second turntable were removed in the 2023 rebuild.
