Vonkaputous

Vonkaputous was a water coaster at Linnanmäki in Helsinki, Finland. Built by Premier Rides to a Liquid Coaster design with track engineering by Werner Stengel, it opened on 12 May 2001 at a cost of 22 million Finnish markka. The steel ride was 330 metres long, reached a height of 24.1 metres and a top speed of 60 km/h, with chain-lift-powered trains carrying ten riders each and a splash-down finale. It closed in October 2017 and was removed to make way for the roller coaster Taiga.
