Clarence Pier's first log flume, a Reverchon ride, opened in August 1998 and ran until 2010.

It then travelled with showmen for several years, spent time at Tir Prince Fun Park, and reopened in 2023 at Ocean Beach Pleasure Park in South Shields as Wild River.
