Excalibur – Secrets of the Dark Forest is a King Arthur-themed river rapids ride with dark indoor scenes at Movie Park Germany in Bottrop. Round rafts for nine riders travel a 600 m course in about six minutes.

The ride opened in 1996 with the park, then called Warner Bros. Movie World Germany, as Die Unendliche Geschichte (The NeverEnding Story). Based on the 1984 film and Michael Ende's book, it featured elaborate theming and characters such as Gmork, Morla and Falkor, plus a pre-show and an on-ride photo.

When the park became Movie Park Germany in 2005, the ride was renamed Mystery River, reusing the ride system and much of the theming. In 2018 it was rethemed again to Excalibur.

The ride system was built by Intamin, designed by Village Roadshow Theme Parks and installed by Anitech Systems. Its former sister attraction in the park was Looney Tunes Adventure.
