Wasalandia's log flume was the park's star attraction from the day it opened on 10 June 1988, a sister to Särkänniemi's Tukkijoki.

The park in Vaskiluoto, Vaasa drew more than 350,000 visitors in its best year, 1990, but only 26,000 in 2015, after which the owner Puuharyhmä (Aspro Parks) decided not to reopen. Most rides were sold on to other parks while the flume structure was left standing on the abandoned site; the remains of the park were demolished in the spring of 2023.
